on January 23, 2022I took the photo on the last day of visiting my hometown (Leshan, China) during an unexpected business trip when COVID-19 has been blocking travels out of Singapore, where I live, for more than two years.
Knowing it would be the last chance of photographing where I was born and grew up over the trip, after a quick breakfast in the hotel I hired a taxi and rushed to the southern tip of the city, where three rivers join for thousands, if not millions, of years.
It was a misty day, though not as dreamy as I wished. Still, it was a good day, as bright as I felt when I strolled inches away from the running river, and as foggy as I remember about my hometown in dreams.
Sycamore trees were seen by the streets in the city when I was a young boy.
